OMG!

I know it's been too long!

I've lost a few pounds, however, I will gain in back.

I've been in Las Vegas for a year. Happy Anniversary to us.

Alex is adjusting better every single day.

I have 2 friends in Sin City. Well, 3, if you include the husband of my friend.

I eat tofu, Asian style.

Long Overdue Update

So it's been a while since I last wrote on here, so I figure I should.

The 5 month anniversary of living in Vegas is coming up and I am very content with living here. Besides the pleasurable weather, work is good, family is great and school is wonderful (both mine and Alex's).

Alex is doing so well in school so I decided to surprise him with a visit to the Chuck Jones Experience at Circus Circus yesterday (I also spent 2 hours at Macy's so he kinda hated my guts for a minute).

The Chuck Jones Experience is a little tour regarding all things Looney Tunes. And since Alex is kind of obsessed with them, I figured it would be the perfect surprise, and it was!

He had so much fun and even told me "I never thought I'd say this but you are the best mom a son could have!" 

(uhmmmmmmm was that a compliment or an insult?)

Look how AWESOME his Yogi Bear drawing is! Alex loves to draw and is so detailed about it. I'm so proud of the young man he is.

Next week, we are off to Miami for some fun in the sun. Well he is going with his dad (sad face), but I'm sure he will have fun. His Miami family misses him dearly.

I miss my friends so I am actually excited to be going. I also miss Cuban bread drenched in butter. yummyyyyyy.

I am addicted to Words With Friends and Draw Something. They make my weekend complete.

Alex and I are doing great! Well except for my back (wah wah).

It was a short work week!

Hopefully the Kinect will be connected this weekend.

It's 2012, bitches!

Alex and I rang in the new year at home watching movies.

We said Happy New Year to each other at 9:00pm PST and then again at midnight PST.

I know it's crazy, but we still ride on eastern standard time for certain things.
